How To Manage Booking Custom Domains

What this does

This guide explains the Custom Domain settings page in Booking.

Use it to choose which customer-facing website Booking should use for public booking pages and company scope resolution.

Before you start

  • The user must already have access to Booking.
  • This page is intended for Admins.
  • At least one customer-facing domain should already exist if you want to choose one here.

Why the Admin App matters here

The page depends on broader public-host or domain configuration that can live in the Admin App.

If the right host does not appear here, the problem may be the shared domain setup rather than Booking itself.

Steps

  1. Open Booking.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Custom Domain.
  4. Review the How this works guidance.
  5. Use Open Domain Settings if the underlying public host setup still needs work.
  6. In Customer-facing website, choose Website customers should use.
  7. Review the active host list and confirm the selected website is the one you want.
  8. Click Save Custom Domain Settings.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting this page to create the domain from scratch instead of selecting from already configured hosts.
  • Choosing the wrong active host for the public booking surface.

What to do next

After saving the customer-facing website, verify the same host is being used where customer portal and public booking links are expected.
