How To Use The Opsdocs Compliance Dashboard

What this does

This guide explains the Compliance Dashboard in OpsDocs.

Use it to track acknowledgement-required documents, compare required versus acknowledged counts, review document versions, and inspect the audit feed.

Before you start

  • The dashboard only becomes meaningful when published documents actually require acknowledgement.

Steps

  1. Open OpsDocs.
  2. Go to Admin > Compliance.
  3. Review the Documents Requiring Acknowledgement table.
  4. Check the required count, acknowledged count, and completion percentage for each document.
  5. Use the version selector when you need to inspect a different version.
  6. Use View Staff to review staff-level statuses.
  7. Use View Version when you need the exact version content.
  8. Review the Document Activity Log if you need the immutable audit trail.

Why this matters across the suite

This is where document access turns into actual operational follow-through.

It helps managers confirm that the right staff have seen and acknowledged the right version, instead of only assuming the document was available somewhere.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming a published document has been acknowledged just because it is visible.
  • Reviewing the wrong version when a document has changed over time.

What to do next

If compliance is incomplete, review the underlying document settings, visibility, and staff-facing document access.
