How To Manage Documents In Opsdocs

What this does

This guide explains the main Documents page in OpsDocs.

Use it to search documents, review bulk drafts requiring setup, and manage global documents by group.

Before you start

  • Document organization depends on your document lists and permission setup.
  • Bulk uploads may still need manual setup before they are ready for staff.

Steps

  1. Open OpsDocs.
  2. Go to Admin > Documents.
  3. Use the search box if you need to find documents by words or hashtags.
  4. Turn on Show bulk drafts when you need to work through staged uploads.
  5. Review the Drafts Requiring Setup section if bulk drafts are present.
  6. Turn bulk drafts off to return to the normal document view.
  7. Review the Company-wide section and filter by global type if needed.
  8. Open, edit, retry, or delete documents as needed from the actions column.

Why this matters across the suite

This is the main control surface for operational documents.

If documents are left in draft, hidden, or badly grouped here, staff will not get the right manuals, SOPs, and required reading when they need them.

Common mistakes

  • Forgetting that bulk-uploaded drafts still need setup.
  • Publishing or exposing documents before their grouping and visibility are correct.

What to do next

If a document type or global grouping is missing, update the document lists before continuing.
